Korwin Zehr
Korwin was born and raised on a farm in the hills of rural south-central Virginia. He enjoys his animals and has 20 some-odd cows and steers on his dad’s home property, which they have together turned into a business. Currently, he works for his Dad at a local sub shop (Rosie’s Cozy Kitchen) as a full-time job, with the farming as a side-full-time job.
Korwin accepted Christ as a young youth and has enjoyed getting to know Christ better since then. He enjoys his time helping with the local boys club, helping out at church, and chatting with the community people at the restaurant.
One of the highlights of Korwin’s life has been attending Sharon Mennonite Bible Institute where he got to sing under such excellent choral conductors as Graham Lichti, Samuel Heatwole, Andrew Hinds, & Benjamin Good. He also fully enjoyed the classes there, the awesome chats that were had, and the Biblical foundation that was laid for all future learning.
Growing up, Korwin had the privilege of listening to such musical groups as the King’s Singers, King’s Heralds, West Coast Mennonite Choir, Gaither Vocal Band, Robert Shaw, Accapella Company, Haven Quartet, and yes(of course), Voice of Praise. He had a great admiration for his dad and the group growing up. So when the opportunity to join the group showed up in 2018, he jumped at the chance. He says, “I have really enjoyed the experience of singing with a great group of men, and I really look forward to seeing where God leads us in the future.”
